Local Community Wellness Clubs
What it is about, how it works and what's involved
First visit is free, but what can you expect.
On your first free visit you’ll receive a free welcome pack which will explain what we do and gives you the opportunity to join our 12 week challenge if you wish.
You’ll also receive a full body analysis from one of our 'Personal Wellness Coaches'. This is confidential and should you decide to become a member, you’ll receive the same full body analysis each week. This is invaluable if you are trying to lose weight, increase your stamina or shape and tone up. Week by week you'll be able to track your weight and BMI (Body Mass Index) and also the more important details such as your body fat percentage, your body water percentage, your lean muscle mass, your basal metabolic rate, your bone density, your visceral fat (the hidden dangerous fat), plus some other very important figures. All of these details will help you and your personal wellness coach obtain the best results for you.
This is not as complicated as it seems and all will be explained during your first visit. The significance and importance of these figures and why we need them will also be explained.
As a member, you’ll also receive your member’s handbook where you will be able to record all of your readings. Your 'Personal Wellness Coach' will be assigned to you and will support you as necessary between your weekly club attendances**. They will be just a phone call away if you need any help, advice or support. ** Please note that there is no additional charge for this service. It is one of the benefits of being a member. (See below for the options of membership).
Each week at the club we cover a particular health topic which is part of the ongoing education we provide. This increased and growing knowledge will help you to grasp some of the important but often misunderstood, but critical parts of maintaining a healthy balanced diet.
Some of the topics covered include understanding food labels, good and bad fats, carbohydrates (which ones we should embrace and which ones we should avoid), healthy heart, the myths and misleading marketing behind certain foods like cereals and margarine etc.
All of this information is explained in layman’s terms and you will be able to obtain a full copy of the weekly notes from the member’s area of the website. As a member you will have free access to the member’s area and you will be issued with a username and password plus a weekly PIN code to access the notes.
So what is the cost of membership?
There are 3 options for you if you wish to become a member
1) Join the 12 week challenge and pay a one-off fee of £35. This enrols you in the challenge and gives you the opportunity to win one of the Top 3 prizes of - £300, £200 & £100. There is no further charge for your weekly attendances and this fee also includes your membership handbook and free access to the member’s area of the website.
2) Become a ‘Casual Member’ for a weekly cost of £4 per attendance plus a one-off cost of £2 for your membership handbook.
3) Become a Regular Member and pay £13 for 4 attendances. With this option you are not penalised if you miss a week (in the case of holidays, illness or prior commitments). This reduces the cost for each attendance to £3.25. You will also receive your complimentary membership handbook and free access to the member’s area of the website with this option.
